Impacted #38 and #28, with prior episode of pericoronitis on #38. Removal requested for orthodontic treatment.

Impacted #38 and #28, with history of pericoronitis on #38.

LA OP removal of #38 and LA XAP #28.

Pre-op CBCT reviewed.
Risks of parasthesia to lower lip and tongue, OAP/OAF informed.

Anesthesia
LA block left IDN, LN, and LBN.
LA infiltration #28.
Surgical Procedure
Patient cleaned and draped.
Incision made, buccal flap raised.
Bone guttering and tooth sectioning performed.
#38 elevated out in 09 pieces.
Curettage, irrigation with saline, BSS x 04 placed for primary closure.
Haemostasis achieved.
LA OP #28 performed.
Irrigation with saline.
Incision made, buccal flap raised.
Bone guttering and tooth sectioning performed.
#28 elevated out in 02 pieces.
BSS x 02 placed for primary closure.
Haemostasis achieved.
Post-operative Assessment
Post-op CBCT taken.
No tooth remnants noted.
IDN and maxillary sinus intact, not involved in surgery.
Patient reassured.
