Chief Complaint
Patient complained of pain in the first quadrant.
Clinical Findings
Tooth #14: Retained roots, very tender to palpation and percussion, mobility within normal limits.
Tooth #16: Retained roots, very tender to palpation and percussion, buccal portion with mobility I+ and buccal abscess, very firm retained palatal root. Both teeth considered hopeless.
Treatment Plan
LA OP removal of #14 and #16.

Local anesthesia infiltration administered.
Surgical Procedure
Patient cleaned and draped.
Incision made.
Buccal flap raised.
Bone guttering performed.
Tooth sectioning:
#14 elevated out in 2 pieces.
#16 elevated out in 3 pieces.
Granulation tissue removed.
Gentle curettage performed.
Irrigation with saline.
Five bone support structures (BSS) placed for closure.
Achieved haemostasis.
Post-operative instructions (POI) provided.
