Chief Complaint
Replacement of missing tooth #47 with an implant.
Clinical Findings
A CBCT scan was reviewed to assess the implant site and surrounding anatomy.
Treatment Plan
Placement of a dental implant at the site of the missing tooth #47.
Pre-operative Assessment
The risks and procedures associated with the implant placement were explained to the patient.
Implant position was planned based on the CBCT scan.
The patient understood and agreed to the procedure.
Informed consent for implant placement was obtained.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia (LA) was administered.
Surgical Procedure
The patient was cleaned and draped.
An incision was made, and a buccal flap was raised.
The implant site was prepared using implant drills and osteotomes.
The dental implant was placed at the planned site.
Primary closure was achieved using 4/0 BSS, ensuring hemostasis and providing post-operative instructions (POI).
