Implant Placement

Chief Complaint

Patient requires replacement of missing teeth #37 and #27.

Clinical Findings

  • Missing teeth #37 and #27

  • CBCT reviewed for pre-operative planning

Treatment Plan

  • Placement of dental implants at sites #37 and #27

  • Patient informed of the risks and procedures involved

  • Informed consent obtained

Pre-operative Assessment

  • New pre-operative CBCT taken

  • Implant positions planned based on CBCT findings

  • Patient expressed understanding and agreement to proceed

Anesthesia

Local anesthesia administered.

Surgical Procedure

  1. Patient prepared with standard cleaning and draping

  2. Incision made, and buccal flaps raised

  3. Implant sites prepared using implant drills and osteotomes

  4. Implants placed at sites #37 and #27

  5. Healing abutments (6.5mm S) placed for each implant

  6. Flaps released and secured with BSS: 04 for site #37 and 05 for site #27

  7. Hemostasis achieved

Post-operative Assessment

  • Post-operative CBCT taken to confirm implant placement and alignment

  • No involvement of the inferior dental nerve (IDN)

  • Implant alignment and position confirmed to be satisfactory

  • Patient reported satisfaction with the procedure
