Surgical Procedure

Chief Complaint
Patient presented with missing tooth #36 and requested replacement with a fixed long-term solution.
Clinical Findings
Edentulous site at #36.
Adequate bone volume assessed with CBCT prior to surgery.
No involvement of inferior dental nerve (IDN).
Site suitable for implant placement with adjunctive grafting.
Treatment Plan
Implant placement at site #36 with socket preservation using artificial bone graft material and healing abutment placement.
Pre-operative Assessment
CBCT taken and reviewed.
Implant position planned prosthetically and surgically.
Risks and procedures explained.
Patient understood and consent obtained prior to surgery.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia administered.
Surgical Procedure
Patient cleaned and draped in sterile manner.
Incision made and buccal flap raised.
Implant osteotomy prepared via extraction socket using implant drills and osteotomes.
Dentium Superline implant (7.0 mm × 8.0 mm) placed at site #36.
Bone grafting performed using 1.0 cc EthOss artificial bone graft material.
Healing abutment (9.5 mm, M) placed to seal socket and stabilize graft material.
Hemostasis achieved.
Post-operative CBCT taken to verify implant position and alignment.

Post-operative Assessment
Implant alignment and positioning satisfactory.
Inferior dental nerve not involved.
Healing abutment stable.
Patient tolerated procedure well and was satisfied post-operatively.
