Chief Complaint
Replacement of missing tooth #46.
Clinical Findings
Reviewed OPG and CBCT images.
The patient was informed about the risks and procedures associated with the surgery, as well as alternative treatment options.
The patient understood and agreed to proceed with the implant placement at the #46 site.
Informed consent was obtained.
Treatment Plan
Placement of a dental implant at the site of missing tooth #46.
Pre-operative Assessment
A comprehensive review of OPG and CBCT imaging was conducted to plan the implant placement.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia was administered.
Surgical Procedure
The patient was cleaned and draped in preparation for surgery.
An incision was made at the site.
A buccal flap was raised.
The implant site was prepared using implant drills and osteotomes, followed by ridge expansion.
A 4.0mm x 8.0mm Dentium Superline III implant was placed.
Bone grafting with 1.0cc Ethoss was performed.
Guided bone regeneration was done using a Jason Collagen membrane.
Primary closure was achieved with 06 BSS.
Hemostasis was confirmed.
