Patient agreed to proceed with implant placement surgery for the #36 missing tooth site with potential bone grafting.
Pre-operative Assessment
Pre-operative CBCT taken to evaluate the implant site.
Informed consent obtained from the patient.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia block administered to the left inferior dental nerve (IDN), lingual nerve (LN), and long buccal nerve (LBN).
Surgical Procedure
Patient cleaned and draped.
Incision made, and buccal flap raised.
Implant site prepared using implant drills.
A 4.5mm x 8.0mm Dentium Superline II implant placed.
A 7.5mm (M) healing abutment placed.
Buccal bony deficiency grafted with autogenous bone chips harvested from the implant site preparation and layered with Ethoss 1.0cc artificial bone chips.
Seven black silk sutures (BSS) placed for primary closure.
Hemostasis achieved, post-operative instructions (POI) given.
