Alternative replacement options were discussed, but the patient opted for implants.
Pre-operative Assessment
The patient was informed about the risks and procedures associated with implant surgery.
Informed consent was obtained for implant placement at the specified sites.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia was administered.
Surgical Procedure
The patient was prepared and draped in a sterile manner.
A tissue punch was used to access the bone.
Implant sites were prepared using implant drills and ridge expanding drills.
The following implants were placed:#14: 3.5mm x 10.0mm Dentium Slimline Fix Type Implant
#26: 3.5mm x 8.0mm Dentium Slimline Fix Type Implant
#46: 3.5mm x 10.0mm Dentium Slimline Fix Type Implant
#47: 3.5mm x 10.0mm Dentium Slimline Fix Type Implant
Hemostasis was achieved, and post-operative instructions were given.
Post-operative Assessment
A post-operative CBCT was taken, showing good implant alignment and position.
The implant at #26 appeared radiographically raised by 2-2.5mm, but clinically it was at bone level.
The patient was satisfied with the results.
