Inferior dental nerve (IDN) plotted to avoid nerve damage during surgery.
Patient understood the procedure and agreed to proceed with the treatment plan.
Informed consent obtained.
Anesthesia
LA block administered to the left inferior dental nerve (IDN), lingual nerve (LN), and buccal nerve (LBN).
LA infiltration administered at the #26 site.
Surgical Procedure
Patient cleaned and draped.
Incision made and buccal flap raised.
Curettage performed to remove granulation tissue.
Implant sites at #26 and #36 prepared.
#36:
5.0mm x 12.0mm Dentium Superline III implant placed.
Healing abutment of 6.5mm diameter (U/S) placed.
#26:
4.5mm x 12.0mm Dentium Superline III implant placed.
Healing abutment of 5.5mm diameter (S) placed.
Bone grafting performed on the buccal sides of both #26 and #36.
Spaces between implants and sockets grafted.
Closure:
#36 site: BSS x 05 placed for primary closure.
#26 site: BSS x 06 placed for primary closure.
Hemostasis ensured and post-operative instructions provided.
