Clinical Findings
CBCT reviewed and implant positions planned.
Ridge split required at the #15 site.
Risks, procedures, and replacement alternatives explained to the patient.
Treatment Plan
Proceed with ridge split, placement, and bone grafting surgery for implants at sites #15 and #16.
Pre-operative Assessment
Informed consent obtained for implant placement with ridge splitting and bone grafting at #15 and #16 sites.
Patient is in agreement with the procedure and understands the risks involved.
Anesthesia
Local anesthesia (LA) administered.
Surgical Procedure
Patient cleaned and draped.
Incision: Buccal flap raised.
Drilling: Pilot drilling for #15 and #16 implant positions.
Ridge Preparation: Ridge prepared and widened using a surgical blade, mallet, and osteotomes.
Implant Site Preparation: Sites prepared with respective sized drills.
Implant Placement:4.0mm x 10.0mm Dentium Superline III implant placed at #15 site; healing abutment 5.5mm (S) placed.
4.5mm x 10.0mm Dentium Superline III implant placed at #16 site; healing abutment 6.5mm (S) placed.Bone Grafting: 1.0 cc EthOss artificial bone grafting material used.
Closure: Flap released and BSS x 10 placed for primary closure.
Haemostasis and Post-Operative Instructions: Ensured and provided to the patient.
